As per Erin Webb, a Huntsville Animal Services volunteer, the reason behind the jaw malformation of the animal is unknown. There is no clarity on what caused the condition and the animal has a noticeable underbite with significant gaps between its teeth.
Zipper’s fur is in poor condition due to flea allergies, and it appears that she has given birth to several litters of puppies in the past. Her previous owner may have abandoned her because she was no longer wanted or needed. Nevertheless, her new shelter family recognizes her value and is excited to assist her in finding a permanent home. Although Zipper may appear unique from other dogs, her quirky smile will undoubtedly pique your curiosity and make you want to get to know her better.
